Privacy policy

SwipeHarbor is an ad research service operated by Media Atlas LLC. This policy describes how we handle information when you use swipeharbor.com.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive your Google account identifier, name, email address, email-verification status, and profile image when provided. We use these to create and secure your account. We request only basic identity permissions; we do not request access to your Gmail, Google Drive, or contacts.

If you create an account with email and password, we collect your name and email address, store a one-way password hash, and send account verification and password-reset emails. We never store your password in plain text.

We store the collections, saved ad references, and notes you create, along with account and session records. We also process technical information such as IP addresses, timestamps, and request/error records to operate the service, limit abuse, and troubleshoot problems.

Stripe handles payment details and checkout. We store customer, subscription, and billing-event records supplied by Stripe, including contact and billing information where provided. Your full card number and security code are handled by Stripe rather than our application.

How we use and share information

We use account information to sign you in, provide your private workspace, manage membership access, respond to support requests, and protect the service. We do not sell your personal information or use Google account information for advertising.

Service providers process information needed to run SwipeHarbor: Google for sign-in, Stripe for billing, Neon for database storage, Cloudflare for domain and media services, and our hosting infrastructure. Account emails, when enabled, are processed through our separate SwipeHarbor tenant in Maido and its email delivery provider. Your saved collections and notes are not shared with other customers.

We may disclose information when required by law, to protect users and the service from abuse, or as part of a business transfer with appropriate protections.

Cookies and storage

We use essential cookies for sign-in, session security, and authentication redirects. Google and Stripe apply their own privacy policies when you use their services.

Retention and your choices

We retain account information and saved research to provide the service. Canceling a subscription does not automatically delete your account or notes. To request access, correction, or deletion of your personal information, email support@swipeharbor.com from your account email address. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request. Some billing, security, and legal records may need to be retained after an account is closed.

You can revoke SwipeHarbor's Google access through your Google account settings. Revoking Google access does not cancel a Stripe subscription; manage cancellation through Account & billing.

Security and external links

We use encrypted connections, account-level access controls, restricted database access, and protected server credentials. No system can guarantee absolute security. Ad destination links lead to external websites whose privacy practices we do not control.
